The Psychological Association of Namibia is the only professional association for Clinical Psychologists, Educational Psychologist and Psychological Counselors in Namibia.
PAN aims to:
Ψ Enhance the profile of Psychology, Psychologists, and Psychological Counselors through the promotion and support of professional, and ethical standards as well as the scientific application of the discipline.
Ψ Strengthen its relationships and profile with external stakeholders to further develop and promote Psychology.
Ψ Strengthen its relationships and profile with other disciplines and professions to further develop and promote Psychology.
Ψ Advocate for Psychology and community well-being as well as to increase access to and utilization of psychological services.
Ψ Develop and maintain effective governance of the association by addressing members’ needs, managing the association’s resources effectively and becoming a more representative association.
PAN seeks to advance psychology as a science, a profession, and as a means of promoting health and human welfare.

Ψ Encouraging the development and application of psychology in the broadest manner.
Ψ Promoting research in psychology, the improvement of research methods and conditions, and the application of research findings.
Ψ Improving the qualifications and usefulness of psychologists by establishing high standards of ethics, conduct and achievement.
Ψ Increasing and sharing psychological knowledge through meetings, professional contacts, reports, papers, discussions, and publications.
